St. Luke's is Catholic Parish of the Personal Ordinariate of the Chair of St. Peter. Originally an Anglo-Catholic parish of the Episcopal Diocese of Washington, we were received and confirmed into the Catholic Church on October 9, 2011 by the Archbishop of Washington, Donald Cardinal Wuerl. As such we are in full communion with the Holy See and fulfill the regular Sunday obligation. We are located off Bladensburg's main thoroughfare, MD Rt. 450, just under a mile west of the Baltimore/Washington Parkway or US 295.

Parking can be found along the street or in the parish parking lot just two houses down from the church on 53rd Street.

Mass is celebrated everyday during the week except Monday and is according to the Book of Divine Worship, the Ordinariate's official liturgy. All liturgies will be celebrated at the high altar in the main church unless otherwise noted.
To enter the main church, please use the main doors at the portico (B). To visit our chapel, enter using the doors (A) which face MD 450. Upon entering, turn left to go downstairs, the chapel will be on your right.

We must pray without
tiring, for the salvation
of mankind does not
depend on material
success; nor on sciences
that cloud the intellect. Neither does it depend
on arms and human industries, but on
Jesus alone.

- St. Frances Xavier Cabrini
